Tomorrow Bradley turns 5.
When I asked him what he wanted for his Birthday...he said ,
"I want Karah to have a sled...and one for me, too."
This boy was born that way.
Never have I known a child that considers the feelings of others like he does.
The little man cub has more empathy than most adults have.
Yesterday I was ready to go to the gym...and it's been a looooong time since I have been.
I was visibly "not excited" about it....and was in serious need of a pep talk.
Bradley said, "Mama. Listen to me. You can do this. Just go to the gym and squeeze the fat out and I promise your bickies will get smaller...and I will squeeze 'em!!!"
I went to the gym and thought about him as I worked out.
He is such a good friend to me....a son...and a friend.
He is a mini Tommy T.
Same lips.
Same heart.
Bradley always tells me he wants to grow up and be a Daddy.
He doesn't understand how much he already IS just like Daddy.
More Bradley gushings to follow on his official Birthday post....
I just couldn't hold it in any longer.
I love him beyond my ability to express.
Can we just arrange the marriage now. Bradley and Bethany, it even sounds good together. Besides, I know she'd have great in-laws. :)
ReplyDeleteHi Sarah! It's Kasia--Rena's daughter. I've been meaning to leave a comment and say hello. Thanks for checking out our blog. It was fun getting a message from and unknown blogger ;D Your blog is really fun/funny and I very much enjoy it(my mom told me about the green satin jock strap and I had to check it out.) Cute family and cute stories--very entertaining! I hope I get to meet you too someday. But until then, take care of my parents--we love them too!
