We celebrated Labor Day in style by visiting the drive-thru Safari.
The last time we had been was when Karah was three, so it was fun to go back with all of the cubs.
The kids brought along their BFF, Emily, for the ride. The weather was perfect!
Bryce was distracted in this picture…due to this monkey sitting next to him. They were having a stare down.
Bryce was angry when the monkey won. The monkey looked quite satisfied.
My favorite moment of the trip was witnessing this ambitious little pig. Dream big, piglet!! There was a man next to us recording it on his iPhone….laughing his butt off.
He never gave up trying. He was like The Little Piglet That Could Couldn’t.
Tom found his favorite animal. He gave him a little thump.
Look at those bickies.
Poor Emily got stuck with riding the hump.
I loved this lazy Kangaroo.
This poor turtle was so annoyed. It was written all over his face.
The boys eating Sour Skittles.
The girls were smart and opted for ice cream…after a hand washing/sanitizing combo, of course.
Some more pics I captured while standing up through my sunroof.
Someday, if I am given the opportunity to ask God anything…I am going to HAVE to ask Him what was behind this design.
Have you ever wondered? Poor little monkeys. How humiliating. Did you know there is now a powder named after these poor little things?
Works like a charm, by the way.
Look at all of these turtles!
Last, but not least, my favorite.
It was such a fun, memorable, Labor Day. So much laughter…so many smiles.
I love spending my days with these peeps.
