The Easter Bunny always hides his baskets of surprises for each children. He is always sure to put things in each basket that are unique to each individual child. One thing he doesn't put in their baskets is candy. He hides each of their baskets...but also hides a big Easter pinata for the kids to find. They have a great time busting it open and dividing up their treats.
This year, the kids found their baskets quickly. Seems the old Bunny is losing his skills. The kids were so disappointed because they couldn't find the pinata anywhere! They had given up hope.
Later that day, we went up to Donkey Hill to feed the animals. When they pulled in, they saw something hanging in one of the trees. It didn't take long for them to find something to take a whack at it.
Poor Bunny.
The hill was covered with patched of clover. The kids went on a 4 leaf clover hunt and found that it's one of their hidden talents. They found several within a few minutes.
The kids rushed their 4 leaf clovers to Grandma's house, knowing that she would be able to laminate them. She didn't disappoint :)
We invited Grandma and Grandpa over for Easter dinner. Bradley volunteered to be in charge of setting and decorating the table. He did a beautiful job!
Dinner was delicious! Brown Sugar Ham, Cheesy Potatoes, Glazed Carrots,
Buttered Green Beans, Salad, Rolls. Mmm. Wish there were still left overs.
Another great and memorable day:)
Easter is a heavenly affair at the Allred home! Love all the things you do to make it so very special for each and every child. So happy you all have inherited the gift of finding four leaf clovers! Love you all so very much!
