Eggstravaganza

Last night our family had "pre- ssert"
(dessert BEFORE the activity or meal)
one of our favorite rules to break.

...and THEN we began our eggstravaganza!!!

Bryce was tucked into bed immediately after his hot fudge sundae to guard against him washing it down with the deliciously tempting vinegar water that would be within reach.


Karah was much choosier than in years past.
When she was three she turned 2 dozen eggs hot pink.
All of them.

There was simple dipping.
Nothing fancy.


Single colored eggs. Glorious, indeed.

It was serious business.


It even called for some lip biting concentration.


But they all turned out....really...they did...pay no attention to his face.


The Eggstravaganza continued today as Bradley attended his preschool
Easter egg hunt at the park.

He hunted.


He spotted.


He captured.


Bryce coveted the hunt...

...but gloried in his time with his big brother.
They swung.

They climbed.


They slid.



It was all just eggzellent.
