Things Got a Little More Complicated

Bradley went to a “Breakfast with Santa” on Saturday.

He sat on Santa’s lap and told him he wanted a jock strap.

Santa snickered and said, “What color would you like? Would you like a green one?”

“Yes”, Bradley answered shyly.

“Do you want it to sparkle and shine? Do you want sequins on it?”, he playfully bantered.

“Yes”, Bradley said with a grin.

He hopped off Santa’s lap…with a finger bashfully held in his mouth and said, “Mama…Santa’s going to bring me a green sparkly jockstrap for Christmas!”

Seriously. Somebody help me. Please. I will pay top dollar.

  1. Sarah, I'll be out shopping around today and I'll try my best to locate a green sparkly jock strap for you - if I can't find one you better get out your sewing machine!!!! That little Bradley has perfect faith his "dream" will appear under the tree come Christmas morning! Love you, Grandmama Bear!

  2. So, if it were me, I would go find the smallest jockstrap available (they have to come in kid sizes with pee wee football around). Adjust the elastic here and there so it will fit him. Then you get green RIT dye and some sequins at Hobby Lobby and start sewing those puppies on.

    The love of a mother.

  3. So...I totally think I can make one- my Christmas plays are either done or are now showing. If you're really interested in having one made. I could draft a pattern and attach elastic pretty easily-I'd even line it so the green sequins won't itch him ;) remember, I'm a theatre sewer, so it wouldn't be perfect...Oh, this is Nikki by the way, Courtney's sister ;)
