After discovering that 915 people gave this recipe 5 stars…I knew it had to be on the Throw Down Menu…and MAN am I glad that I did.

First off, I just want you to know that I prepared this recipe without wearing a bra…so I could have the full experience. It was quite liberating. I highly recommend it while preparing this recipe….or ANY of Giada’s recipes.

Process:

I gathered the ingredients...except for the chicken…because it grosses me out to take pictures of raw chicken.

REVIEW:

Giada – I don’t care if you EVER wear a bra again…I will watch your show till my dying day. This was INCREDIBLE! This has gone into the family recipe file and will be pulled out for special occasions. This isn’t the healthiest dish that you will ever make…but WONDERFUL for company or special celebrations. The kids raved. The flavor was incredible…even with using cooking wine, as opposed to a high quality white wine. When I sat down to eat this – it tasted like someone made it FOR me. Do you know this feeling? Sometimes you slave over a dish – only to sit down – and you aren’t even able to fully appreciate the taste because you are just happy to be done cooking? Not so with this. This dish tasted like I had been laying on the couch, reading a book, and Giada called me in for dinner. In the words of Rachel….Yum-O.

Following is the video response from our tasters.

Hmmm….what will tomorrow hold? Stay tuned!!

  3. I don't know how you do it, but I'm so excited for your recipes this week, mostly the commentary. Wow, you hit it on the head with the review of the chefs on the Food Network. HA HA HA HA!!! You make life so fun!

  4. I'm sorry. I don't like Giada at all. Her forehead is way too big for me and she talks WAY to slow for me. I switch it immediately if I see her face ever, so I can't say I've ever made any of her recipes. I'm Bobby Flay all the way too. I do love me a good FN recipe though and the Great Food Truck Race was the best show ever. :)
