Splash

Our town has a lovely place that is an ice skating rink in the winter that transforms into a splash park during the Summer.

This afternoon we took the cubs for their first splash of the Summer. It was the perfect day for it.

Bryce was in charge. His pirate shorts made him feel extra authoritative.

Have you ever noticed that every splash park comes complete with a child in a swimmer? This one was particularly cute.

Every splash park ALSO comes with a boy who straddles the fountain….see background…

And sometimes you realize that your child is that kid, too. He always HAS wanted a bidet

The kids loved it when the fountains settled down – and they had to anticipate when they would erupt again.

After a good, long play – they started to wind down.

The kids had fun dancing on the stage after they were splashed out. Bradley rocked out the air guitar.

We are SO ready for Summer!!! Ready or not…here we come!!!
