The kids went to the Splash Park with Jonas and Addison...because everything is more fun with Jonas and Addison...and because sometimes new mama's need to take a nice, long, nap.
They had so much fun. As soon as we got there, this man approached me and asked if I minded if play some "nice music on his boom box". I didn't know they still made boom boxes...but his seemed in mint condition.
He was right. His music was nice. He played some oldies and some swooner music. It was so fun to watch the kids dance and skip in the water. The air was hot...the water was cold...and the crowds were low. We could smell the yumminess of the crepe stand and were in a general state of bliss.--- Not counting the time that another child was having a meltdown. It caught Bryce's attention and he didn't approve of this little man raining on our relaxation parade...as shown in pic.
At first they traveled as a pack. It was humorous to watch them walk from hole to hole as a cluster of little people.
Jonas is "supposed" to want me...but he didn't get the memo.
He wants this girl.
I can't say I blame him.
She is pretty wonderful.
Bryce was all over the place.
If there's one thing he loves...it's water...and running...and yelling, "Woohoo!"

Jonas was a nomad. Once he let go of Karah...he was a wanderer.
He had holes to plug.
He is completely delicious.

When Karah was a toddler, I used to just stare at her and soak up her cuteness.
She never outgrew it...and I have never stopped.

We came home and enjoyed some lunch and play time...and then Karah tucked them into bed for a nap.
I would say the day was a success!
