Over the river and through the woods....

....To grandmother's house we go!

In a FORWARD facing car seat! Yay for Brycer! So big....so happy!
We spent our extra-deliciously long weekend in Kansas City....visiting G-ma.

On Saturday, Tom and Karah went with her to see "The Lion King".....which they LOVED!

Grandma and Karah posing at the show.
(I took the boys to the mall to shop for some spookies)

Later that night we all went out to dinner....where I had some awesome Chipotle Chicken Enchiladas. Wow.

After church on Sunday, we went to go visit Grandpa's grave site and give him some flowers.

Bryce kept running his hand over grandpa's name....and would have been perfectly content sitting there all day. He's still so close to heaven.

We talked with Karah and Bradley about how much their grandpa loves them.....and how we will be with him again someday...

By the way....I never pose these kids......this is Bradley's favorite way to hug his sister. I love it.

After we visited, we explored the grounds, which were absolutely gorgeous. There was a tree on a tiny island in the middle of the pond. We followed the bridge to spend some time enjoying the beauty of it all.

Bradley was sure to bring a bit of irreverence to the cemetery bu chucking rocks into the pond. Can you blame him? That's hard to resist.

It was the perfect way to spend a Sunday afternoon.

Stay tuned for the rest of our vacation adventures!
