Summer Vaca....Day 5... Park City

Thursday, we headed to the Park City Mountain Resort for some fun.

Alpine Slide

Court and I took Karah and Bradley up the ski lift to go down the Alpine Slide. We were both a nervous wreck - clinging to the kids...freaking out every time they moved. About half way up the mountain - I remember to pull the safety bar down. Duh. We then relaxed enough to take a pic:)

The kids cheered us along as we pulled the four sleds along the path to the track.
They aint light.

Karah went down all by herself...but was a teensey bit brake happy.
I caught up with her.

Little Miner's Park

(Karah wasn't thrilled to be riding a "baby ride")

(She was equally "unthrilled" to be riding with a baby.)

We figured out a way to cheer her up.

Horseback Riding

Rock Climbing
(technically)

Karah was about 6 inches off the ground. She never ventured past this position.

Zipline

Tom and I decided that we shouldn't go together...in case of freak accident...lol.
Tom went first by himself....and taped it :)

Courtney and I followed later.

Alpine Coaster

My favorite, hands down.

After a long day at the resort, we were anxious to go out and relax with Kevin and Renee. Have I mentioned that I love them? I do. Uh Lot.

We went out to dinner to The Snake Creek Grille... which was incredible.
The dinner conversation was highlighted by a discussion over the best natural disaster to die in.
Mudslide was quickly ruled out.

Home with stuffed tummies, exhausted, and ready for bed!

Goodnight Day 5.

  1. Are you by any chance looking for a 27 year old daughter to join your family? (One that bakes?) This vacation looks like every child's dream come true. I am excited to see what happened each day.

  2. The video Tom took was classic, got a good laugh right along with him. I love his feet dangling at the end. I'm with Josie, wish we could see you and Courtney too.
